Often described as the more naturally-gifted Da Silva sibling, Fabio looks set to enjoy a vibrant future at Manchester United.
The young Brazilian was originally spotted in 2005 by Reds scout Les Kershaw whilst playing for Fluminense in a Hong Kong youth tournament, later moving to Old Trafford in July 2008.
Upon his arrival, the Brazilian and twin brother Rafael soon earned praise from manager Sir Alex Ferguson, who said:"They just love playing. They're quick and they're determined. I think they're both excellent footballers, I really do."
The pair soon appeared in a pre-season friendly

Despite suffering from a spate of injuries and finding his route to the first team blocked, Fabio's patience reaped rewards when he pinned down a regular starting berth in early 2011.
Having bagged his first goals for the Reds in wins over Wigan and Arsenal, the young Brazilian became a regular at right-back and went on to start the UEFA Champions League final defeat to Barcelona in Rome.
