Ahead of the transfer window opening on New Year's Day, we collate the latest bout of speculation regarding incoming moves at Old Trafford.
31/12/13: The Daily Telegraph reckons David Moyes is plotting bids for Leighton Baines or Luke Shaw but believes Everton and Southampton will price the players out of any January transfer. The two left-backs are likely to compete for an England berth for the foreseeable future. Other reports claim a £16million bid for Baines will fail while the Reds will test the Saints' resolve to hang onto Shaw with a £20million offer.
31/12/13: Ross Barkley is a stunning £50million target for the Reds, according to the Manchester Evening News. An exclusive story in the local paper suggests David Moyes wants to raid his former club Everton again for the promising midfielder after landing Marouane Fellaini in the summer.
31/12/13: Dinamo Zagreb forward Robert Muric is being linked with a move to United by the Croatian press. 24sata quotes the 17-year-old's father as confirming it is almost certain the youngster will quit Zagreb and Manchester is forwarded as a possible destination for the teenager.
31/12/13: United are pondering a bid for Stefan Velkov, following a recent trial at the Aon Training Complex. The Slavia Sofia defender told Bulgarian TV: "According to their feedback, they were very pleased with me. I made a lot of good friends there and enjoyed the stay." Despite some talk of any deal for the 17-year-old stalling, there are reports that he has already undergone a medical.
31/12/13: West Ham would consider selling Ravel Morrison back to United, reports Metro. The England Under-21 international midfielder is said to have a number of clauses in his Upton Park contract and has also been linked with a switch to Rene Meulensteen's Fulham.
